Lisa’s career spans over twenty years in finance for Morgan Stanley, MSCI, and Arthur Andersen. She has experience in financial planning/reporting/analysis, capital management, M&A, corporate strategic planning, forecasting, and treasury. Most recently, Lisa was divisional CFO at MSCI, and, prior to this, she was a lead equity research analyst at Morgan Stanley. Lisa received her BBA from the University of Notre Dame and is a CFA charterholder.
Her responsibilities will include:
- Developing the organization’s financial goals and providing financial management to facilitate the profitable growth of the company
- Providing input and leadership on operational decisions to enable the company to achieve its strategic and financial goals
- Preparing financial statements, forecasts, and related analysis for appropriate financial and capital management
Boris Fridkin, Controller, joins Full Stack Modular from First New York Partners, a subsidiary of Forest City Ratner Companies, where he served for ten years as the Sr. Accounting Manager where he played a key role in many aspects of the company, from 404 compliance, to implementing SAP and transition data from MRI. Boris oversaw and was responsible for all aspects of accounting and asset management of a retail portfolio with over 1 million sq.ft. in New York City. Prior to joining FNYP, Boris spent 3.5 years working for H.J. Behrman and Co., LLP (a CPA firm) performing audit and tax work for Real Estate clients. He received his BA degree from Baruch College.
In his new role, Boris will be responsible for:
- Preparing and analyze monthly financial statements and cash flow
- Managing inventory flow
- Negotiating and purchasing materials
EVP, Systems Integration
Brian brings over 10 years of project management and design for digital fabrication experience to Full Stack. After 2 years at the Product Architecture and Engineering Master’s program at Stevens Institute of Technology, Mr. Sweeney worked for Forest City Ratner Companies as the project lead BIM coordinator for several years, utilizing Catia software to convert design information into usable data for both the contractor and developer. Working on such projects as Gehry Partners Atlantic Yards and 8 Spruce Street. In 2009, Mr. Sweeney made the jump to the newly formed SHoP Construction, affiliated with SHoP Architects which was ultimately chosen as the design architect for the Barclays Center design. With his prior experience of the site and client, Brian as project manager led a talented team that delivered the arena’s iconic weathering steel façade and curtainwall mega panel system utilizing several manufacturing-based applications, true innovation in the AEC industry going from design to direct to fabrication and install. Continuing his efforts in support of direct to fabrication initiatives within a design community, as Operations Director his work continued with the Nassau Coliseum façade renovation, Barclays Center’s green roof, as well as several modular initiatives while at SHoP. In 2015, Mr. Sweeney had taken his talents to FC Modular where he contributed to ensure that 461 Dean Street, predicted to be the tallest residential modular building in the world, was completed in the factory and on-site setting leading to the opening in the Fall of 2016.
Each work experience and relationship along the way has been a building block. Brian has spent the last two years educating and honing skills relating to modular design and manufacturing while being afforded the opportunity to theorize and develop a new genre for design interaction and delivery by way of the digital model. Creator and manager of winning teams, Brian’s affability and poise foster environments that encourage an open and productive exchange of ideas within and between teams.
His responsibilities will include:
- Defining the product’s system design and completing the architecture specification throughout the product development cycle
- Leading the effort to improve the product’s robustness, function, reliability and cost through design innovation
- Overseeing the development of the company’s product roadmap
Zach Downey, RA LEED AP BD+C

With over 11 years as an innovator, architect, business owner, and software developer, Zach has a depth of experience in architectural and construction technology. Zach is focused on new ways of looking at old problems, utilizing technology to change the construction industry, and shift the paradigm for how buildings are made.
Zach is the founder and a contributor to Designalyze (www.designalyze.com) an innovation and technology website for the past 8 years and serving as an experimentation platform for researching new technologies. Last year Designalyze was spun out into a podcast that now boasts 40 episodes with leading figures in the design technology community and over 30,000 downloads featuring interviews with design technology leaders from across the industry which have helped position Zach as a leader in design technology, innovation, and discourse.
Prior to working at Full Stack Modular, Zach Downey received his Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Polytechnic and State University in Blacksburg, Virginia (2005). He worked at SMBW Architects in Richmond, Virginia (2005 – 2007) where he contributed to the firm winning the 2007 Virginia Firm of the Year award. While at SMBW he worked on 403 Stockton Street, was the lead designer of the Manchester Design District Masterplan which won a state AIA Honor Award for un-built work, was a designer on the Luck Stone Corporate Headquarters and then became the project manager during the construction of the headquarters.
Zach joined SHoP Architects in 2007 and has assisted in a various number of projects in the office as a Digital Design Specialist helping teams achieve specific project tasks. He has conducted workshops and lectures nationally on design technology and parametric modeling, most recently at Columbia University, Parsons, The University of Arizona, University of Tennessee and Virginia Tech and has also been an adjunct professor at Columbia University and City University of New York (CUNY) College of Architectural Technology. He has written for several publications, including A+U & Yale University’s Constructs. In 2009 Zach became the Director of the Applied Technology Group at SHoP and has since been involved in many projects to orchestrate Building Information Modeling deliverables.
Zach left SHoP in Late 2011 to cofound Parabox. Parabox is a technology company focusing on exploiting emerging technologies to provide seamless data management for all processes directly related to the construction and facility management process, including initial designs, procurement information, as-builts, and engineering specifications for O&M.
Zach successfully transitioned Parabox to CASE / WeWork in an acquisition in 2015. While at CASE / WeWork, Zach served as a Senior Building Information Specialist and Product Manager, where he worked with a team of developers to build a real estate platform and internal business systems.
Zach Joined FC Modular in 2015 as the Technology and Innovation Manager. While at FC Modular he developed tools to optimize module layouts and configurations for buildings. These tools allowed FC Modular to surface insights to make business decisions and strategically target building sites and configurations to optimize the factory production efforts.
His responsibilities will include:
- Identifying new and emerging markets and market disruptions
- Building, researching and testing innovation tools and processes to assist product development from sales to delivery
- Utilizing design automation to minimize effort and maximize effect
Adam Gerber – VP of Product Management
As an expert in prefabricated building systems, Adam is invested in exploring new forms of technology-enabled collaborative design workflows. Adam comes to Full Stack modular with experience managing all phases of modular building delivery. Prior to joining Full Stack Modular, Adam collaboratively re-defined the workflow for fabrication and assembly at FC Modular. Through the implementation of lean construction methods, Adam decreased lead-time, increased productivity, and increased product quality while delivering a 32-story modular building.
At SHoP Architects and SHoP Construction, Adam had the opportunity to work on several large-scale, urban development projects. He was integral member of the facade construction and management team for the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, interfacing with civic agencies, consultants, fabricators, and erectors. Throughout his career, Adam has championed the application of manufacturing principles to architectural projects using CATIA. Adam received an M.Arch from Columbia University.
His responsibilities will include:
- Coordination of design side with the production side of project execution
- Ensuring solutions meet client needs and capitalizing on innovative delivery methodology
- Developing systems that ensure design information flows seamlessly to both the factory floor and the project sites
Shameka Grinage, SR HR Manager
With 20 years of experience as an HR professional for small and large firms with both union and nonunion populations, Shameka’s expertise spans from employee benefits, policies & procedures, compliance to employee relations. Prior to joining FullStack Modular LLC, Shameka held benefits roles at Forest City Ratner Companies and Monster Worldwide/TMP Worldwide. Shameka received her BBA in Human Resource Management from Baruch College and her designation as a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.
In her new role, Shameka will be responsible for:
- Planning, managing and coordinating all human resources initiatives; recruitment, compensation, benefits, training and employee relations
- Managing daily departmental operations, business planning and budget development of HR programs
- Ensuring policies, procedures and HR programs are consistently administered, align with organizational goals and are in compliance with professional standards, state and federal regulatory requirements and laws
Karen Dobson – Senior Accountant/Senior HR Admin
Results-driven professional with over twenty-five years of solid work experience in the Residential and Commercial Property Management industry. Demonstrated strengths include property management, accounting, budgeting, vendor management, payroll and human resources administration.
Prior to joining Full Stack Modular, LLC, Karen worked for FC Modular, LLC from January 2015 to play a key role in the financial management for building the tallest modular building in the world, located in the Downtown Brooklyn area.
Karen started working as an accounting intern while in high school for a small Property Management company in Downtown Brooklyn, where she pursued an Associate Degree in Accounting at New York City Technical College. She later went on to complete her Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Business Management and Finance at Brooklyn College.
Karen worked for Bush Terminal (Industry City Associates) as Staff Accountant for five years. She went on to work for Marion Scott Real Estate as Staff Accountant, Assistant Property Manager, and Controller for twenty years where she successfully managed day to day operations of a 1596-unit (4) bldg. Mitchell Lama cooperative, mixed use, and (4) indoor parking garages in Harlem, NY.
Karen holds several licenses such as NYS Salesperson – Insurance, and Real Estate. She is a certified Residential Apartment Manager with the NAHB.
